Rutile
TiO₂High-purity natural TiO₂ for the chloride process.
Rutile is the highest-purity natural titanium dioxide mineral in commercial supply, typically 92–98% TiO₂. It's the preferred feedstock for the chloride pigment process and for titanium sponge metal via the Kroll process, where feedstock purity directly controls output quality.
Because chloride-route buyers run continuous, chlorination-sensitive processes, rutile shipments are supplied against tight impurity limits.
