Zircon
ZrSiO₄Zirconium silicate sand for ceramics, foundry and refractories.
Zircon is a dense zirconium silicate mineral prized for its chemical inertness and high melting point. In ceramics it's milled into opacifier for tile glazes; in foundries it's used as a precision-casting sand that resists thermal shock; in refractories it extends furnace lining life.
We supply zircon sand and micronised zircon flour against the particle-size and ZrO₂-purity bands each of those three end-uses actually requires. A ceramics glaze mill and an investment-casting foundry each need a different product entirely.
