Carbon Raiser
High-carbon recarburizer for EAF, IF and cupola melting.
Carbon raiser is a high-carbon, low-sulphur, low-nitrogen additive charged into molten steel or iron to bring carbon content back up to specification during melting. It is sourced from calcined anthracite, petroleum coke or graphite depending on the recovery rate and cost a melt shop needs.
Because recovery efficiency and pickup speed both depend on particle size and purity, we supply against the sizing and fixed-carbon band matched to EAF, induction furnace or cupola practice.
