Met Coke / Breeze Coke
Metallurgical coke for the blast furnace and the cupola.
Metallurgical coke, produced from coking coal, is both fuel and chemical reductant inside a blast furnace, and it has to be strong enough to hold its shape under the burden above it while it reacts. Breeze coke is the smaller, screened fraction below blast-furnace lump size, sized instead for sintering and foundry cupolas.
We supply both fractions to the fixed-carbon and strength (CSR/CRI) band the furnace or sinter plant is designed around.
